    2026 JFK Talent Show Wrap-Up

    What an Amazing Night!

What a spectacular evening! A massive round of applause to all of our incredible students who took the stage at the JFK Talent Show this past Friday. From singing and dancing to cup flipping and impressive dice stacking—plus amazing virtual acts featuring gymnastics, dirt bike riding, and even dog tricks—we were absolutely blown away by the creativity, courage, and sheer talent of our Eagles.

Events like this are a true team effort, and they wouldn’t be possible without our amazing community. Thank you to:

    • Our Performers: For your hard work, practice, and bravery. You all shined so bright!

    • Our Volunteers: For handling everything from the concession stand and flower sales to backstage wrangling and tech support. We couldn’t do it without you.

    • Our JFK Staff & Teachers: For your continuous support and for cheering our students on.

    • Our Families: For encouraging your kids, filling the audience with so much energy, and making it such a memorable night.

It is truly a great time to be an Eagle. Thank you all for your continued support of the JFK PTO!

Science in action at the Kennedy!

We just got the pictures back from the Top Secret Science visit on Nov. 24th, and it looks like the 2nd grade had an incredible time! 🥽✨

Bringing outside programs like this into the school is a core part of the PTO’s mission, and it is entirely funded by your generous donations. Thank you for helping us bring science to life for the kids!

  • HundredX Fundraiser

    HundredX Fundraiser

Kennedy Families! We are kicking off a brand new fundraiser that costs absolutely nothing but a few minutes of your time!

We’ve partnered with HundredX to turn your feedback on popular brands into real cash for our school. Starting December 1st, you can create over $100 of impact just by sharing your opinions on the brands you use every day (like Amazon, Starbucks, Target, and more!).

🎁 Our Wish: All we want for Christmas is for you to help us with this fundraiser!

It’s simple: 1️⃣ Text “SCHOOL” to 90412 to sign up. 2️⃣ Select the brands you know. 3️⃣ Share your opinion (takes about 1 minute per brand!).

Each quality opinion generates up to $1.60 for the Kennedy. You can give up to 75 pieces of feedback, totaling $120 in support per person!

Let’s make a huge impact together without opening our wallets this holiday season. ✨

  • Treats for Troops

    Treats for Troops

The challenge is ON, Kennedy families!

Last year, our amazing students collected a whopping 90 POUNDS of candy to send to our troops. This year, we think we can do even better! 💪

As students heard at the assembly, we are launching our annual “Treats for Troops” candy collection drive. This is a fantastic way to show our appreciation for our service members and put that extra Halloween candy to good use.

🗓️ WHEN: This coming week, Monday, Nov. 3rd – Friday, Nov. 7th

📍 WHERE: Collection boxes in the Kennedy Main Lobby

✅ WHAT: Please send in any excess, unopened Halloween candy.

Let’s rally together and break our 90-pound goal! This is a great way to get rid of all that extra candy your kids got for Halloween!

  • Trunk or Treat 2025

Thank you to all the Kennedy families and staff who joined us for our annual Trunk or Treat last Friday. It was a wonderful evening filled with community spirit, amazing costumes, and so many creatively decorated trunks.

This event is a massive undertaking, and it is only possible with the help of our dedicated community. We extend our sincere gratitude to every family who hosted a trunk, donated candy, and to all the volunteers who worked hard to set up and take down the entire display.

We were especially excited to debut our new “spooky canopy” this year. As with any new addition to a large event, we navigating a few setup kinks and are always learning how to improve the experience for everyone. We appreciate the patience of our volunteers and attendees, and we look forward to making this a staple of the Trunk or Treat tradition for years to come.

Thank you again for making the night a safe and memorable one for our students.

  • Kennedy Eagles Shine at the 2025 Yankee Doodle Parade!

Kennedy Eagles Shine at the 2025 Yankee Doodle Parade!

The streets were lined with cheers, and Kennedy Eagle Pride was on full display this past Saturday at the annual Billerica Yankee Doodle Parade. We were thrilled to have such a fantastic turnout of students and families who joined us to celebrate our community. From the students waving enthusiastically on the float to the parents and staff walking alongside, the spirit of our school was truly shining. Even our beloved Eagle mascot was there to lead the way!

Creating our wonderful float was a team effort, and we owe a special debt of gratitude to the local businesses who stepped up to support our school. A heartfelt thank you to American Fence and McCue’s Garden Center for their generous contributions. Your partnership helps us create these lasting memories for our students.

Thank you to everyone who took part in making the day so special. It’s moments like these that make the Kennedy community so strong. We look forward to seeing you at our next event! IMG_3182
